I also applied, and had no interviews. My poi told me that if I did not get an interview, then unfortunately, I am not on their list. I take that as a (silent) rejection. Alas, I don't have any offer now and must consider taking either a second MA (mostly without funding at this point) or a gap year. I'm not sure if it is necessary for an applicant to hold a degree in US/UK/Canada/other English-speaking countries, as I am somewhat reluctant to take another MA considering tuition fees. What might be you guys' suggestion on this? Thanks!

Thank everyone for sharing! It's really good to know there are people anxious together ? I'm an MA student of ancient Chinese literature from Mainland China, currently working on my thesis. I just had a meeting with the Harvard EALC committee on 17th (got email on 12th) and that's the only interview I've had, centering on my SOP and writing sample. Good luck to all!
