Awesome. When you say you'll apply to more, where are you thinking you'll apply to? I thought most of the applications closed on December 15th. I too am doubting myself more every day, ha. My focus within AM is on computational biology, and I think I have a lot of strong research to back it up. But now in this waiting period, I don't feel so sure.

Any 2023 Applied Mathematics PhD Candidates out there? I'm not seeing many posts on here related to math programs/admissions. I just got my first rejection - Yale. Pretty bummed about it, I think I was a pretty strong candidate. BS in applied math, 3 publications (one co-first author), years of research experience, glowing letters of rec. I also applied to: UC Berkeley MIT Princeton Harvard UMass Amherst UC Santa Barbara Columbia My backup is an MS in Statistics that I have already been admitted to. Any other folks in this waiting-boat? I'd love to hear about where you've applied/any responses/how you're feeling.
