[Counselling Psychology 2023-2024 Apps (CANADA)]

Is anyone aware of/able to tell me the differences between UBC M.Ed in Counselling Psychology VS. U of T M.Ed in Counselling and Psychotherapy. If not, I would appreciate any sort of information you know about either (or both) program(s). Thank you in advance

May I ask if you also applied for MEd or just MA only? I was wondering if the results for MEd were sent out separately. I saw someone already posted their acceptance on the result page on Feb 15, but I was told by Karen that the results would be released today, Feb 23 or next week. I applied for MEd only and still haven't received any updates in my inbox yet. 

I was rejected from the MA on Feb 16th and accepted to the MEd today. Best of luck to you

Sorry to hear that. Some applicants have gotten official results by emailing the program coordinator. For the Med Counselling program I think people emailed Karen: kl.li@utoronto.ca, found on here https://www.oise.utoronto.ca/home/aphd/contact . Best of luck to you

Hi all, I was wondering if it makes a difference (in relation to job prospects post grad and income) if I attend a public (ex. UBC, U of C, or U of T) university as opposed to a private one (ex. Adler, Yorkville). Im curious as I want to get a start on my career but I'm not feeling too hopeful about my public university prospects. Thanks!
