@nevermindthespockI was asked to provide additional information (recent transcripts) to TMU last week. I was also told that my application was being considered by the Graduate Admissions Committee. I am hoping to hear back from them soon.

@nevermindthespock Yes. I accepted the MMPAL offer. I could not get any further detail on where I am in the process from TMU so I did not have a choice. It would be helpful if TMU could confirm if first round offers have been sent and/or if I am on a waitlist. But, I guess that they are not allowed to provide that type of information.

For those like me still waiting on TMU, I reached out to the Program Administrator and I was told that the process has begun and will continue until the program has filled the available spots. So, not much new information. In my view, based on people's experiences from previous years and a few posts in this forum, it looks like the first round is likely over and once people decline, new offers will be made available. Good luck to all those still waiting.

That's great. Did you apply to TMU before the date for first consideration (December 12)? How long after the notification that your application was forwarded to the Program Admissions Committee for review, did you get the acceptance email? Thanks.

I got an email from the Graduate Program Administrator and an update on MyFile at the same time. The MPPAL is a professional program so most students are working full-time and take the part-time option. So, I decided to go with part-time option. Also, moving back to Toronto from Ottawa later this year for family reasons so I had to withdraw from the Carleton program. Just waiting on TMU.

I received an offer for the MPPAL at York University last Friday (Feb 17). It is for part-time studies. Waiting on TMU. Good luck everyone.

The program director reached out by email and I had a Zoom interview. York interviews for full-time only. Only 3-4 students accepted for full-time each year. Most students are part-time as it is a program designed for working professionals in the public sector. No interviews for part-time applications.

Hi Everyone. I applied to York (MPPAL), TMU (MPPA) and Carleton (MPAA) full-time. Had an interview for York and an email confirming a offer in the next 2 weeks. TMU acknowledged receipt and confirmed my application forward to Admissions Committee in an email. Nothing further. Nothing yet from Carleton. Really wanted to apply to Queens but did not have time to study and write the GRE (My previous graduate studies were outside of Canada). Looking forward to hearing from TMU and Carleton.
