i’m in a similar situation where my app just says “submitted” and has said that since dec. it’s definitely led to lots of anxiety on my part

hi all ? as the waiting period goes on, i find myself growing more anxious. i was wondering for those who already got decisions (r/a/wl) had your application status changed at all prior to the decision? my application status still just says “submitted” as opposed to “under review” despite the fact that i submitted in december. in other words, the status hasn’t changed since then and i’m worried about being ghosted ?

seems like all the jhu decisions have been for fiction. anyone hear about poetry yet?

hi all! just curious, is there anyone else applying for an mfa without a prior degree in writing/lit/english? kinda nervous as i wonder if not having a degree in any of those fields would’ve negatively impacted my app
