Would recommend going to the University of British Columbia. I personally believe that one shouldn't worry about jobs at this stage. UBC is a prestigious institute and given that you work hard, you'll land a job.
Hi there, Starting a thread for anybody that applied to UBC Sept 2023 intake in Civil Engineering program. Has anyone heard back from UBC?
For those who have applied and waiting, it would be great if you can share your profile here. Thanks
As for me,
CGPA - 3.35
Professional Experience - 3 years as a Structural Design Engineer
GRE - Not given
Student - International
Bachelors - Civil Engineering
CGPA - 3.35/4
Last two year GPA - 3.6/4
Relevant experience - 3 years as a Structural Engineer
Recommendation Letters (2 from professors and one professional)
I have applied in UBC (Vacnouver and Okanagan Campus) for M.Eng (Structural Eng.) program, but it appears to me as if UBC is HIGHLY competitive school and chances of getting admit are zero to none. Can someone evaluate my profile and let me know which other schools I should apply to?
