  1. Columbia's decision is out in the portal. Accepted: MIT (80%), Columbia ($40k/year), Tufts (75%, interviewing for full funding fellowship), Penn (funding pending), Cornell ($13k/year). Waitlisted: Harvard. Pending: Rutgers. If anyone knows of prospective student group chats, please loop me in, thank you.
  2. @NotHereYet Yes, it was an informal email from their department chair. I imagine it could be a batching situation, you have no reason to worry. Good luck!
  3. Just got an email from Penn. "A more formal notification, complete with notice of financial aid and web links to housing information, will be available through Penn’s website on March 13th at 12 noon (Eastern Daylight Time)."
  4. Fellow international students here: does anyone know which programs are eligible for the 2-year STEM OPT extension? I know schools like Cornell, Harvard, and U Michigan have it because it's listed on their websites, but I can't find info about MIT's MCP anywhere. Thank you very much!
  5. @Sumi I applied to the Master in City Planning (MCP), not a PhD. Take a deep breath, hang in there, and wish you the best of luck! @nattobowl Thank you! I applied to the Housing, Community + Economic Development (HCED) group.
  6. Received a call from an MIT faculty an hour ago, they confirmed that formal decisions will come out tomorrow (Thursday, March 2, Eastern Standard Time) along with financial aid packages for admitted students. Good luck to everyone!
  7. For US-based Masters, seems like the schools that have released decisions at least partially are: Rutgers University-New Brunswick; University Of Southern California; Cornell University; Tufts University; University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill; New York University; University Of Michigan (Ann Arbor); University Of Illinois, Chicago; University Of Minnesota; Georgetown University; University Of Arizona; Hunter College; University Of Utah; Ohio State University; Cal Poly Pomona; Arizona State University; Virginia Commonwealth University; University of Iowa; University of Oregon. Feel free to comment with any other leads that I missed. Personally, my application to Rutgers is still under review while others have received offers. I was accepted into Tufts (pending funding) and Cornell ($13k/year) last week. Still waiting on Columbia, Harvard, MIT, Penn, and Rutgers.
