I've heard that for Penn, invites went out a week or two ago, but that could just be certain programs. Harvard's interviews for the PhD have all went out sadly!! TC seems to be a bit slower so maybe this week or next we will hear? I applied to these schools too, but different programs
Vanderbilt - Ed Policy
UW Madison - Ed Policy Studies
UPenn - Higher ed
UT Austin - Higher ed policy
UMich - Higher ed (pub pol concentration)
Harvard - Education (EPPE)
UCLA - Higher ed
TC - Higher ed
Congrats! What program is it? My only interview so far asked a LOT about motivations. Why a PhD? Why that school? I had an answer prepared, but be ready to go deeply into it! I also got asked for a specific question I’d be interested in exploring (not just a topic)
No clue! I sent times for after the new year. It's with the program director and a professor (not my POI). I also applied to about the same schools as you (BC, UCLA, TC, and UT Austin instead of UCI and Stanford), so I will keep this forum updated mostly!
Hi! The Vanderbilt one was me. It came in an email today. I forgot to add stats, sorry! Current masters student with strong quant background, two years as RA experience. I don't know about the Harvard one though! I was also alarmed by that
I think that’s normal sometimes. One of my replies was that they don’t like actually talking to anyone and I have a few professors at my current school who said they don’t respond to anyone!
I contacted before applications! I got replies from all that I did, and met with most of them. I think now I’ll just wait it out for interviews/decisions
@Smtatathankfully yes! got acceptances from vanderbilt, duke, columbia, and nyu! applied to the dual degree program at penn and got the mpa so hoping for the MSEd too! what about you?
