Just firmly accepted my offer to Western and declined my offer to UofA so a spot will be opening up!

I got accepted to Western and also didn't get anything but was wondering the same thing!

Congratulations everyone!! I got accepted to Western and was waitlisted at McMaster and UofT! As a second-time applicant I am super happy with that! For everyone that didn't receive offers, do not feel too discouraged (although I know it is really hard not to), this process is so difficult! Just a heads up for everyone applying to Alberta! I emailed the academic advisor and they are aiming to send out decisions at the beginning of April, however it may be later than that. So we may be hearing back a little bit later this year.

Yes! I have a few documents that do not have a submission, but it also says "document not required" beside them. I had the same thought process as you.

I don't think there has been anything yet. The website says end of February. When I applied last year we got the decision emails on February 22nd so I'm thinking we may hear next week!

Hello! Dalhousie does things a little bit differently. When I applied last year, people heard back in phases throughout April. Acceptances started getting sent out in the beginning of April. I received my rejection email on April 27th and that seemed to be the end of their process.

I was a little confused about this as well but my application is submitted and it still gives you the option to add or remove the required documents.

Oh wow! Feeling super nervous, especially since this is my second year applying. Just trying to stay positive as I have a higher GPA and more experiences this year but it is still definitely intimidating! Super nervous for that email in February 😳 I applied to CDA as my backup program and received my acceptance so that makes me feel slightly better. I understand your worries for sure! Hey! I had the same email subject but just didn't have my identification number in there. I also just stated in the body of the email that I attached my SCSD submission for consideration for admission to the SLP program with my name again. I'm sure any format is okay as it is a little less formal

Hi! I have also not received an identification number but received one after about ten days last year.

Hi! I also applied to UofA this year. Yes, you have to submit your application and pay the fee before your references will get the request to submit theirs. You need to do this before February 1st as the references must submit their forms before the 1st (they are due that day). For example, I submitted my application and paid last week and now my references will have until the 1st to submit. They will receive an email with a link to filling out forms and letters. Hope that helps!

Hey! I also found Dal's application process confusing but this is my second time applying and I think I got it down. Now that you have submitted the online portion, you have to gather three documents into one PDF file to email to them before the deadline: SCSD Additional Information Form (you can find that on their website and fill it out), your resume, and your unofficial transcript with this semester's grades included). Sorry for the late reply! You actually upload your CV after you submit and pay for the application. It then gives you a few documents to upload (like transcripts).
