Hi, has anyone heard from the UBC waitlist?

Has anyone been able to accept their UBC offer or being contacted off the waitlist?

From what i've read people are having difficulties accepting their offers. The system is being weird? If thats the case we likely wont hear anything until they have a chance to formally accept. The wait is killing me tho!

Does anyone know what day UBC (speech or Aud) have to accept their offers by?

Yes, I was waitlisted last year and this year for both programs at UBC and it says "in progress" and I havent gotten in.

Congrats to everyone getting in!! I am just wondering if anyone is possibly turning down an offer at UBC for SLP or AUD, im waitlisted for both and just wondering if there will be any movement.

Im from BC, my GPA isnt very strong but I have good references and volunteer with disabled children and work as a counsellor with youth right now. I am very curious about how many people get waitlisted!

I got my email on the 6th of April last year UBC wouldn't say anything about it though. They wouldnt tell how many people were on the waitlist or give a quadrant or anything.

No idea, im super anxiously waiting lol. Last year they started sending acceptance for AUD on the 3rd and SLP on the 6th. Hopefully we hear soon!

Anyone else anxiously awaiting hearing back from UBC? I applied for AUD and SLP and am thinking we many not hear back on April first due to it being Easter monday? Im also wondering how competitive the Aud application is.

Anyone that got accepted at UBC choosing to go somewhere else? i’m waitlisted at UBC and looking for a sliver of hope
