  1. Hi all - I am planning on applying to Statistics PhD programs this upcoming cycle and am looking for some feedback/thoughts on the strength of my profile. My path leans less traditional, as I did not construct my undergrad experience around applying to PhD programs. I received my B.S. in Applied and Computational Mathematics & Statistics (with a double major in Economics) from the University of Notre Dame in May 2021. I have worked in Private Equity since graduating from college, recently wrapping my two Analyst years and receiving a promotion to Associate; additional work experience is outlined below. Why do I want to go back to school? As of right now, I'd like to focus on methods in clinical trial design / evaluation / prediction and ultimately go back into industry (investment) post-PhD to focus on investments in biopharma / life sciences companies (more on my experience here, below). Interested in returning to Academia later in my career to teach, as well. Open to any feedback on my profile - feel free to message separately as well.
