U of Waterloo - part time- ACCEPTED
I checked Quest after 6pm and saw the update.
Children and Families.
For everyone's benefit and anyone that is curious....I had very strong references and 8 years of work experience however my grades were not the best 😔....low B average. I hope this brings some hope to some of you 🙏🏼
I received an official email stating I was accepted into UofT MSW program. The acceptance letter is a total of 8 pages long. I have until June 1st to pay my deposit.
Good luck to everyone 🙏🏼
Be mindful not to mix up the acceptances going out for American schools vs. Canada school. Most Canadian programs will be notifying applicants as early as February.
Good luck to all. I have some information to share about Waterloo’s online MSW program.
-they received 150 applications and have already started reviewing them
-responses to the questions account for 40% of the overall assessment….this is good news for those who may not have good or high grades. They also place a lot of focus on experience (employment and volunteer). Grades do not hold significant weight.
-references account for 15%
-they will be sending out acceptances in February
