Individual email from DGS at Maryland saying they will review applications next Friday, 09FEB, then inform applicants about decisions soon after. Didn't expect them to reach out about the actual date they review applications; I think it's a nice touch.

The only MA program I applied to that had a 15DEC deadline is the one at Michigan, which I've yet to hear from. For 01JAN that would be Chicago (edit: incorrect, actually 04JAN), though I didn't apply this year, only deferring my acceptance from last year as a reserve option.
So I know this thread is mainly for PhD programs but generally when do MA programs in the US tell applicants about admission/interviews/visits? Am I right to think mid-February is a very active time?
Thanks very much... I applied to virtually all the ones with good funding so now am just waiting, alongside a few PhDs and some unique one-year programs as well, and I have no context for when these programs come back (with admissions offers, anyway... I applied last year with much worse materials. Lol)
Not sure if the right thread but... when do MA programs generally get back to people (with admissions offers)? Seems like mid-February? And do those ever involve interviews / campus visits before accepting?
