Accepted at Columbia Journalism School but with no scholarship aid. Acceptance and financial aid notification came in separate emails. I can’t believe CJS would be greedy enough to think anyone would take on $75k of student loan debt in this economy and with the journalism industry going through mass layoffs right now. I’m not going to CJS. Looks like the MS program is just for rich kids and richer intl students. I was offered a full ride at a different school and I’m happy to go there. Looking forward to attending a journalism school that actually puts their financial aid money where their mouth is. I suggest you all do the same.
