  1. Volunteer Opportunity: Support for Speech-Language Pathology/Linguistics Project We are seeking a dedicated individual to assist with the preparation of child language transcripts this summer. The project focuses on analyzing the language and fluency of children with Tourette’s syndrome seen at the Tourette Syndrome and Pediatric Movement Disorders Clinic in Calgary. The volunteer will play a crucial role in helping to prepare transcripts for analysis using the Systematic Analysis of Language Transcripts (SALT) program transcription conventions. Ideal candidates will have completed an introductory syntax course and possess a strong understanding of English syntax. Familiarity with the SALT transcription conventions is an asset. This is a volunteer position with a small honorarium attached. The commitment is for the duration of the summer (May through August), with flexible, remote/work-from-home scheduling.
