Does anyone know why programs tell the accepted/waitlisted students BEFORE the rejects? It seems really cruel and a bit gate-keepy. For example, I emailed Hunter today to check in and Mike got back to me within a couple hours to say they hadn't finalized their class but that I'd been rejected... OK? What were you waiting for then?
I don't know. I'm a bit disheartened by this whole process. Looks like my only option is to spend my entire life savings on SLC.
