  1. I'm wondering the CGS-D will be adjusted for people entering programs...? I'm starting this fall, so only got 36 months at $35k/year because that's the max...but if I had the SSHRC fellowship, it would have been 48 months' eligibility at the $20k/year. I sent an email back to ask, since now they're both worth the same.
  2. If you're having trouble with your folder for upload - I sent an email to the help desk yesterday and today I have a new folder inside a folder that allows for upload. Progress!
  3. Lol don't worry...I just sent the email to say that I can't upload.
  4. Stupid question, but for the CGS-D, what happens after the 36 months? Do you apply to extend, or just apply for SSHRC after that, or department funding?
  5. Stats for my committee - 1a: Applications 107 Fellowships offered: 46 (43%) Fellowships not offered 61 (57%) I was funded; my score was 10.91.

  11. I teach with continuing education programs and our public library, so it's a neat way to translate that into research...community-based education offers low-to-no barrier access, so it's a great way to reach people and especially youth!
  12. Committee 1 here, too....I pitched leveraging science fiction in community-based writing workshops for STEM engagement and science literacy for my research. Fingers crossed!
  13. I'm alternating between refreshing email and refreshing this thread... 😅
