Hi everyone! I'm planning on applying to the MSt in English (1700 - 1830) at Oxford. I was wondering if anyone here either received the scholarship, or knows anyone who did (preferably in the humanities)? I have substantial research experience, including a competitive fellowship, and my interests are well aligned with the course. If all goes according to plan, I should be graduating summa cum laude. Although I am happy with my success, I know that the scholarship is incredibly competitive, and I do not know if I really stand a chance. All of this to say, I would very much appreciate hearing any first-hand experiences and/or receiving guidance. Most forums I have scoured are STEM or social science oriented, so it is difficult for me to gauge my credentials (if that makes any sense). Thanks so much in advance!
