As far as I know, they admitted 19 people in 2024 and were planning to admit 14 this year, but I’m not sure if all acceptances have been sent yet. As someone mentioned earlier, we have until February 9 to RSVP for the Prospective Student Visit.
I'd be 25, but I don't think 29 is uncommon at all — I know plenty of people who are pursuing or have pursued a Ph.D. at that age and after 30. I really don't think it's a big deal!
Hi guys. I noticed that UIUC has already released some decisions for this application cycle, even in December. However, my portal still shows "Awaiting Decision." Is anyone else in the same situation, or could this be a soft rejection?
