  1. I'll be honest; I just assumed I was rejected from Carleton since I haven't heard back yet! I'm just grateful I got in somewhere because I genuinely thought I was going to get rejected everywhere.
  2. Just a heads up, uManitoba may have a faculty strike (UMFA) soon. I'm not totally sure if this may affect admission times. I have a few friends in that program who got results around Feb-April. I hope this helps! Best of luck, and I hope you get in
  3. Got my acceptance to Dalhousie's non-BSW MSW stream this morning. So grateful and beyond relieved. Now I can stop checking GradCafe and Reddit's GradAdmissions every day stressing about results. Best of luck everyone <3
  4. My anxiety right now waiting to hear back 📈📈📈📈
  5. Best of luck and I hope you get in
  6. It's so quiet in this thread 🤐 How's everybody feeling now that most Fall 2025 deadlines are closed?!
  7. OOH That's awesome. My apologies; I did not know that! It makes me very happy that there is a program that has multiple admission times in the year. I wish more programs had this. I wish I knew the answer to your question 😕 I just hope you get in, friend!
  8. Oh I thought grad schools usually give out admission offers in Jan-May?
  9. thank you msw.helper the forums quiet this year. wonder if people will start commenting closer to jan/feb 2025.
  10. Thought I'd get this started for the Canadian applicants this year. I'm currently applying to the MSW - non-BSW stream at Dalhousie, uManitoba & Carleton. First time applying for the MSW programs. Very nervous!
  11. I finally submitted my applications. Carleton, Dalhousie, and uManitoba's non-BSW stream. Feels good to get it out of the way and just wait now. Can't help feeling anxious about the results, but it's out of my control. My GPA isn't the most competitive (B+ average) from my last 60 credits. I have about 4000 hours of SW adjacent experience. Most of my experience is from non-profit work (crisis intervention) and the provincial health authority (working in inpatient psychiatric hospital units). I was raw with my statement of intent and dug into connecting my lived experiences with why I chose clinical SW as a profession. Hopefully, that resonates with the admissions team. Best of luck everyone! February/March feels so close yet so far.
