Hi all, just venting. Pretty bummed out my top choice hasnt accepted or rejected me. Their updates have been scant. I dont know if I am next up for an offer or just waiting on a rejection. or if they have their cohort picked out and I am on a waitlist, but havent been told. I know there's a ton of applicants but this late in the game I feel like whoever is still in the running should know some sort of general standing. IDK, I know Im not special but I do feel left in the dark which stinks.

I'd say once a week at most! Maybe trying giving the department a call, too? It is a hail mary move but what do you have to lose?

So if i applied priority to a fully funded program is there any benefit?

I really do not like how little information we are getting from UNCG. They keep saying "I expect to get an update from the committee on Friday" and then.....nothing. Week after week. I understand there is funding uncertainty but come on!

Yes. Still pending at my top school. They mentioned "your applications is very much alive. The committee is going to meet again on Friday, and I expect to get a little more good news." - two weeks ago. Havent heard back anything definitive since. Can barely get any work done or think about anything else.

Ah, thank you for the reply. You are absolutely right. I just want them to acknowledge me! lol. But I can wait until tomorrow.

I need some advice please! I was accepted into a low-res program, and waiting on a full-res decision (top choice). I already had an extension on accepting the low-res offer, the final hard deadline is this Thursday. My top choice/full-res said they expected "to have some good news" for me 2 weeks ago. Radio silence since. I emailed them this morning. If they dont get back to me should I call? Or do I accept that they might not finalize decisions by Thursday?

Ive visited this forum and Draft at least 35 times today, cant even quantify the visits to my email, portal, and the spreadsheet. What else can I neurotically check instead of being productive? Open to suggestions!

I agree with you. My unfortunate situation is that my Warren Wilson decision was due on Sunday. I asked for more time but waiting on UNCG to get back to me with any information at all has been excruciating.

SAME! Still waiting to hear something from UNCG at all 😭

Was expecting UNCG to drop decisions yesterday. Anticipation is nearly unbearable.
