Hey all! I was accepted to both NYU & American for their MPA programs this upcoming spring, and I only have until Monday to make a decision (that's the enrollment deadline given to me by Wagner). Ideally, I'd like to get experience in the nonprofit and/or health sectors; I'm not too keen on working in government... for those reasons, I think NYU is a better fit. However, American is a bit cheaper (by a thousand or so dollars each semester, not to mention cost of living). I didn't receive merit-based assistance from either school.
So, with all that said... which school should I go for?? I'm looking to hear people's experiences with either school... and/or how they made a decision... so hopefully I'll have a definite answer for NYU by Monday.
