I received an interview invite for next week for Stony Brook! I’m very happy but also surprised as I wasn’t expecting to hear back until later this month. Has anyone heard anything from their apps?

How’s it going for everyone? Did you get your apps in on time? I ended up rethinking Emory and adding Michigan after speaking to a grad student who recommended the course. Location definitely changed that decision as I’m mainly applying to places Midwest/east coast. Also, I had a nightmare with one of my recommenders not responding at all at the last minute so I had to rush to find a cover. Two more to go now for me.

Hey everyone! I’m applying to one program which is Anthropology (cultural) combined with Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies at Yale. The rest of my applications are either WGSS only or other combined programs.
