I'm not right now, but I used to live in Northern VA and worked in DC for several years. I agree about the cost; I was living in the area when I did my MPH and wanted to go to GW then, but the cost prevented me from going. I'm hoping the networking piece will help offset some of the costs down the road (although I know this isn't the best time to be in public health!!).

I want to work in health policy in DC! GW has connections with a lot of national and international public health agencies too, so I'm hoping I'll have a chance to do an internship with one of them.

Hi everyone! Here's what I've heard so far: GW: Accepted 12/19 Tulane: Accepted 3/7 Emory: Waitlisted 3/17 Rutgers: Accepted 3/17 JHU: Rejected 3/18

I haven't heard from them. I never even got a message saying they received my application, so I followed up and got an email back saying they did get it. I haven't heard anything since.

Hi! I'm not sure, I applied for the online program, but there may be a different timeline for the in-person one.

I interviewed before I was accepted, I believe it's mandatory but I'm not 100% sure.

I applied to the Schoolwide DrPH at JHU and also Preparedness at Emory.

I applied to JHU and Emory and haven't heard back yet.

I found out today that I got accepted to Claremont! I'm definitely leaning towards GWU but still exciting to have another option!

Has anyone applied to Rutgers and not heard anything? I received their confirmation email that they received my SOPHAS application, but then got another email saying I needed to complete my application. I emailed them back in November to clarify, and followed up this week, but haven't heard anything back. Just wondering if anyone else has heard anything? Thanks!

Oh wow, I was scared to click on it so I just sent the admissions folks an email asking if it was legitimate 😂 That is a really weird way to send it, but I'm happy!! Congratulations to you!!! I'm likely going to accept (if I did in fact get admitted, haha) but I still have quite a few other applications I'm waiting to hear back from. GWU is my #2 choice though so I may just go ahead and accept since the other schools' admission decisions are in February or March. How about you?
