  1. I am currently a senior undergraduate student and submitted all my applications for Physics PhD programs (Quantum Science and Engineering Research) a week ago. I’ve been working as a mathematics tutor in my school’s tutoring center and recently made a significant contribution (at least in my opinion) to our tutoring system. I successfully implemented a plan for after-class workshops in collaboration with a professor, aimed at providing students with additional practice. Starting January 25, I will be fully in charge of these sessions. The team anticipates this initiative will be a great addition since it’s the first of its kind for the math team. Here’s my question: I’m planning to update my CV to include this contribution under the teaching experience section. Should I email my graduate schools with an update about this? I’m considering sending a continued interest email to keep the admissions committee informed about my ongoing work. I believe the committee may value this contribution since it aligns with the skills required for being a teaching assistant, which is relevant to their programs. Do you think this is a good idea? Why or why not? Thanks in advance!
