One of my professors told me that any “good” program/department will tell you what you need to improve in your application if you ask. Also, if/when you get a rejection or waitlist notification, sometimes they’ll tell you why you weren’t initially accepted. For example, when I was waitlisted at Tulane, they told me their Renaissance program was shrinking and that’s why I was waitlisted.
I guess my interview went well, because today I got accepted to Temple! I didn't think I did too great but I'm happy it worked out in my favor wishing everyone the best ❤️
From my knowledge, there are a couple schools that have fully/mostly funded MAs in Art History based on the topic you're interested in. An MA from the Syracuse Florence program is fully or partially funded, but the focus is Renaissance/Early Modern art. I also think that Tulane and Case Western are fully or partially funded.
Hi all! like the OP i'm applying to two PhD programs (Temple & Berkley) straight from undergrad😅, but I also applied to 3 MA programs. I'm a little nervous because I just got an email from Temple asking for an interview, even though they don't usually do them. I can't tell if this is a good thing or a bad thing😓 Most deadlines are past, but I wish everyone in this thread luck < 3
