yes, i have both those ids. and i haven't received any news from them yet. it seems all poetry acceptances and waitlists have gone out. and maybe fiction too. but there is just one fiction acceptance in draft, so i'm hoping there is still a chance. but...

can we assume that all south carolina acceptances have gone out? has anyone here heard from them?

i didn't apply to wvu, but someone i know did for fiction and got in. from what they told me, it looks like all fiction acceptances went out on sunday--they also received a general email from a third-year student addressed to all accepted students. i'm really sorry if this isn't the news you were hoping for. wishing you the best, and i hope you hear some good news soon.

thanks! i'm a little down because i was sure i'd progress to round 2. my only strength is my writing sample--everything else in my app has nothing to do with writing. so... i progressed to round 2 of utk and ole miss, but i guess my sample isn't perfect. i know it's subjective, but still... anyway, thanks again. hope you get more good news!!!

their deadline was jan 21 this year. last year, it was earlier. we might still--i'm hoping--get an update next week.

i think if they really want to convey the wonderful news directly, they will email us (int app) to set up a zoom call. otherwise, they will directly email us the acceptance letter.

yeah, I don't remember seeing it before, so I got a bit freaked out. probably 'graduate committee' just means 'departmental review' I think it shows the same status for everyone who has submitted all their materials. guess I just got ahead of myself.

hi guys, can anyone see any updates on their ut austin portal? mine says, 'your file has been forwarded to the graduate committee for review' was it always there? does it imply anything?
