I received a full-day interview invitation from Case Western on January 9th a couple of years ago and was wait listed (sadly, I didn't get in). The conventional wisdom I've absorbed is that any time in the month of January is fair game for an interview invitation to be sent. Also, a friend of mine just received a full day interview invitation from University of South Dakota sometime last week. So, there is hope! -
