So the rejections from Georgetown are out. Mine as well. The results page at GradCafe is also flooded.
"Thank you for your application to the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences at Georgetown University. This year, the Graduate School received over 10,000 applications for our Masters and Ph.D. programs."
I didn't apply to Tufts because of Fletcher stating that they provide funding only for the first 2 years. How valid is that? They say it here:
https://fletcher.tufts.edu/programs/phd-programs/phd-international-relations/phd-admissions#:~:text=Does Fletcher offer stipends for living expenses to PhD students%3F
Take a look at these stipend amounts from the appendix of a 2024 Sage research paper:

You can get to the paper by extracting the DOI from this URL.
"PhD stipends and program placement success in political science" - Seth B. Warner, and Dominik A. StecuĆa
Hi. Can you please tell me if professors at Cornell appreciate being contacted before applicants apply for the program? If yes, is there any way to know which professors are on the admissions committee for the year? Also, the program says the GRE is not required, but have you seen it come into play in your cohort?
I applied to the University of Virginia's program after strong encouragement from one of the professors there. Last week UVa started sending out acceptances, and I've been sweating since then.
According to this website's results page, interviews for Government and Political Science are out. But I can't say that those who haven't received invitations yet have been rejected.
Multiple people are posting their interviews for the Georgetown program on the results page. But there is no mention of the status of my application at the portal. Here is a screenshot . I hope I am not looking at the wrong place.
