I also got an email invite to interview from UC Irvine for PhD Sociology program this past Thursday evening (1/16/25). I applied to 13 schools and so far they are the only one I have heard from. -
I applied to all PhD Sociology programs but study incarceration/education in sociology-- I applied to UC Irvine and just got an interview. Not sure if that is helpful or not! Best of luck!!
