Hi everyone I applied for Dphil in Asian and Middle eastern studies at Oxford during the January 2025 deadline. Before applying, I emailed my potential supervisor about my interest and research topic. She took all my transcripts and resume and invited me for an informal meeting. She stressed on crafting a good research proposal and I applied afterwards. She mentioned that she's a part of the admissions team. I am really worried about what's going to happen. Does this elevate my chances of getting into the program?
