Updating this to let those who are curious know that I finally heard from a prof at UVA and we spoke (rather informally) for about thirty minutes over zoom yesterday. I get the impression UVA started the whole process of sifting through applicants later than other schools.

Just found this thread. I applied to four PhD programs, all Religious Studies: UT Austin (Religions in History), Princeton (Islam subfield), UVA (Islamic Studies), and U Chicago Divinity School (Islamic Studies). I interviewed at Princeton 1/17, UT Austin 1/22, and I have an interview with Chicago scheduled for 1/28. If anyone has any questions about these interviews I'd be more than happy to share more! I haven't heard a peep from UVA... has anyone else?
