Has anyone been accepted at UF? I'm waitlisted there and trying to gauge how close they are to finalizing their cohort for next year. Any information would be so helpful

As someone who is hoping to be admitted off the waitlist, please email the school rather than wanting for the deadline to pass

that’s so nice of them! what did you say? I don’t want to sound too eager reaching out, I just worry about not having the official “you’re on the waitlist email”

So, I got a call from one of my top choices last Thursday telling me I was on the waitlist and to expect an official email in a few days. It’s almost been a week, should I reach out? It’s probably just the stress of this whole process but my first instinct is to worry

I haven’t heard anything from VCU painting either, I don’t think anyone here has ever been contacted for an interview? maybe that’s just hopeful thinking

Has anyone heard from Upenn, Uconn, or UF?

Congratulations! I went to UCSB as an undergrad and can confirm that the faculty is incredible to students. They're supportive, reliable, and the MFA students who were there when I went are doing wonderful things now. Most of the ones I keep up with have professorships or PhDs. I saw that in a previous post you applied to CMU, have you heard back from them yet?

I got an email from them telling me my admission decision had been posted to my application page, the letter was available there

I just received my first rejection from UNC! still no requests for interviews from anyone.. should I start freaking out? I'm waiting to hear from VCU, CMU, UPENN, UCONN, University of Georgia, and University of Florida
