Congratulations to all those who went through the gauntlet of applying. It's not easy. I got rejected from SSHRC three times before I was finally successful. Some useful bits of advice I was given was to study as many examples of successful applications as you can, and to cater every aspect of your application to maximize your score in each of the 3 criteria.
I have a question: I was offered a SSHRC Postdoc to go to Durham University, in the UK. Does anyone know what kind of VISA is the right one to use? From what I can tell so far from the UK Government website, perhaps it is the Global Talent Visa? Or a Skilled Worker Visa? Any info is helpful! Thanks.
