Another update: I received a formal notice from NSERC this morning (5:40 am pst) and access to the portal to view my results. While the letter specifies $120,000 over 4 years (same funding amount as CGSD), it also states that I was awarded the PGSD, which probably means I ranked on the lower end of people who received funding.
Does anyone know if this means I won't be eligible for the Michael Smith Foreign Study supplement? I know they're harmonizing and re-launching this award, too, but historically, you're required to have a "CGS."
Lastly, I just (moments before posting this) received another email from NSERC to my institutional email (not sure how they got this as I never put this on any documents I submitted) titled "Reminder for completing the PDF and PGS award holders questionnaire" - the first few lines seem to indicate that they are aware of my successful funding status.
Hope this info helps somewhat, and fingers crossed for everyone who's still waiting!!
