  1. Hi everyone! I'm in the process of preparing to apply to math PhD programs this fall/winter and I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on Probability programs I haven't found yet. (Or just general advice) Undergrad Institution: Respected Liberal Arts School Major(s): Math (with High Honors Research) & Computer Science GPA: 3.73 (Math major 3.90) I graduated last year from a well respected liberal arts school with High Honors in math from a senior research thesis, I also majored in computer science, with statistics and data science minors. I chose not to apply to grad programs last year at the recommendation of my advisor because of all of the uncertainty with funding and the like. My interest is mainly in discrete probability and probability theory and I would strongly prefer a math PhD rather than statistics, does anyone have any good recommendations of programs that have professors specializing in this field? I've done a good amount of research and have talked to my professors, but just want to cover all of my bases. My current list is: UW Madison, U Minnesota, Northwestern, Carnegie Mellon, MIT, NYU, UPenn, U Toronto, and UC Davis.
