I am looking to transfer from a XXX State University to University of XXX. I have studied in the former state university for fall 08 and I am continuing as spring 09. However due to my academic credential i am looking to move on to the latter. Problem is that I am a PHD student (moving directly from undergraduate) and I have TA from the former. So I have not included the recommendations from my current university. However I have included the transcript from the current university and I have mentioned in my resume of my current employment as TA at this university. I am concerned if the latter university will try to get in contact with the former regarding my application. Since that may risk me losing my current aid as well. Does anybody has any such experience and suggestion on this? Oh by the way I am an international graduate computer science student.
