    Um, my husband's first stipend check isn't going to arrive until November. Is that normal?

      November? That seems like a long time. I'm expecting my first at the end of September.

      The program starts on September 16th, though everyone was instructed to move no later than August 1st to ensure housing. It looks like he is going to be paid two lump sums twice a year.
