I was admitted into EE. I think it might be a good idea to call up the department and ask if you your status doesnot change until march.

Just to add to what has been already said, one of my friends didnot receive an acceptance till mid march (with aid) last year.

Ha ha ha ! Chill down people. Decisions come when they come, It is something out of our hands now. So, stop worrying about it and concentrate on the present work. Enjoy !

i agree with andandand. From Last year's results page, i can guess that it is going to come soon (today or tomo).

It seems that a couple of applicants have received the admit letter from EE MIT as seen in the results section and many more are very concerned about when the results will be out. Let's discuss and report results here!

We should start hearing back sometime from Feb. 10th till March 1st. Vaguely the admittance dates (from last year) for EE are : MIT (Frb 10), Stanford(Feb 20), Yale (Feb 20),, harvard (march 1-10), catech (march 1-10) , Princeton (Feb 25).

I called up the graduate admission office. They said that each department sends their recommendations to them on different dates and its not possible to check the date for a particular department. She added that most of the decisions will be sent from April 1st till April 15th.
