(sorry, this was crossposted in the econ forum)
I'm going to Chicago Law next year, and I was wondering if that would give me an advantage in applying for their Econ PhD program the following year. I probably wouldn't be able to get into their program normally, but I was thinking I might have a leg up if I'm already at the law school.
On a related topic, do I need to have an 800 quantitative to get into a #1 econ program?
I'm curious if it's easier to get into a program if you already attend the school's law school. I'm attending Chicago Law next year and I don't think I would be able to get into their econ program normally, but maybe I'd have a shot if I'm already getting a JD there.
Also, is a 790 on the quantitative GRE section a problem for getting into a #1 econ program?
