I got in too. Hunter's a great school. I'm not positive where I'm going to go yet... Picking a school is going to be really difficult. We have till April 15th to decide they said. Were you guys admitted for the fall or spring semester? They've offered me a place in the spring. Does anyone know how they decide who starts when? Thanks!

I wasn't invited for interview, so I already knew I hadn't got in. Columbia interviews all applicants before admitting them.

I received my rejection letter too (3/31). I was sent an email telling me that my admissions decision was available on my online application. You click a link, and the (very polite) letter opened up.

I interviewed at Hunter, and haven't heard back yet. I thought they said at interview that it would be 2-3 weeks before we heard, and I haven't noticed anyone on here say that they had received an admit decision after having interviewed... Or have I missed something?

I haven't heard either... Surely someone on here would have done if they'd notified of acceptances already. Maybe? This last one is killer!

I haven't noticed anyone else mention MIT's program on here. Has anyone applied, and if so have you heard anything back? I think that last year they contacted people on 8 March. I don't think that they interview, but I could be wrong about that....

I got an email this afternoon from Hunter about an interview. March 19.

Nope. I thought they might make their calls today... Maybe tomorrow? Last year they called for interviews on 3/1. (Yes, I've gone crazy.)

does anyone know when MIT typically issues invitations to interview? i've been scouring past forums, but can't seem to find any posting that hints at when people were first contacted. judging by past years, it seems that applicants to yale will be hearing sometime around next friday...

I wouldn't stress out about it in that case. I tried calling Columbia about an issue that I was having with their online application. The first time I called I left a message and received no response. I wrote an email, and there was still radio silence, but when I called a second time a few days later, someone answered the phone and was very helpful. I'd try calling again. Even if they didn't receive the portfolio from Slideroom- which I find doubtful- you have proof that it was submitted prior to the deadline.

Did you get an email confirmation from Slideroom when you submitted the portfolio?
