Ditto. I called on Wednesday -- the coordinator said that everything is very faculty specific at this point, and a faculty member had even asked her to assemble an admit file for another new student the day before. She essentially said that if you haven't been notified yet of anything, you are on someone's waitlist, and since all the faculty are moving at individual paces, it's just a matter of waiting for them to select through their own processes... That was about as much insight as I got.
This whole application ordeal has instilled in me the value of deadlines for academics. Let us be thankful for April 15th. Without it, they would be happy to wait as soon as the night before the next semester before notifying us of decisions. Blargh. I guess it's a little fair, I only submitted the night before most deadlines as well!
