  1. hey there! yeah being vegan in spain might be hard, but you will be fine if you are able to cook for yourself. And if you are happy eating lots of tapas. Personally, I plan on eating dairy once I'm in Italy, but that's just me. What town will you be in?

  2. so, i creeped on your CS profile - you're vegan too! i wasn't super nervous about being vegan in spain, but i got placed in the north, which is a little more... rural? meh. point of this post: n/a.
  3. I'll also be in Cantabria!
  4. Nope, but I just found out today I was accepted! I applied to be in secondary schools, so I'll be in Madrid or Cantabria. I'm excited to find out, at any rate! I think we all have to attend an orientation in Madrid around September 15th? Actually, I don't remember where I got that date. #NotIntendedToBeAFactualStatement
  5. I e-mailed her after I saw your post, and just got this in response: "We're still waiting for Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board approval and it's impossible to predict the timing for this. Hopefully, the next couple of weeks...! Best wishes, Rachel." Weeks! Le sigh.
  6. finalist for an ETA to spain! i hope they send out the results earlier than the last week in april, this year.
  7. My campus adviser just e-mailed me and said the latest is that they're notifying applicants on the 21st!
  8. I just got confirmation from one of the IIE program officers that it'll be the 24th. Eek!
