I accepted my offer from Louisiana Tech for their doctoral progam earlier this week-- they sent out 5 offers total and I know atleast 3 are accounted for. Good luck!
Thanks. Actually it's a funny story and I think I know why I didn't get one. Logged in to check my application status today and noticed that I never sent the departmental application. It was filled out in its entirety sans my digital signature . I contacted the coordinator and she pushed it through for me today, despite it being a month overdue! My fingers are crossed!
I'm presenting! Unfortunately, I graduated in May 2010, without a SIOP membership, which means I have to cough up 350 to REGISTER. Barf. Also, I got a rejection email from University of Tulsa today.
Yea, I will be going. 400 dollars down the drain for airfare/room/car, but at the very least it will be great practice for future interviews (crosses-fingers). The only thing I'm worried about is the cost of their program..
Got an email from Seattle Pacific Uni. inviting me to interview with them on March 4th. Their deadline was Jan 15th... quite possibly the fastest turn-around ever!
Anyone have any feedback on Southern Illinois University - Carbondale or University of Texas Arlington? Trying to determine whether I should apply. They offer applied and experimental degrees with a specialization in I/O.
