all interviews for stanford have already been sent out. i work in one of the dept's labs.

should be within these two weeks, if past trends can be trusted

wegner is not taking students this year; i emailed him before my application and thats what he told me. banaji looks like someone who's really disciplined and expects a lot from her students

i had the same prob, and i explained to them honestly that while am really honored to be considered by them, another univ contacted me wks ago and i already RSVP-ed. then i asked them if i can just fly there during the week (one of the weekdays that i can make it) on my own initiative and meet them. cos i really do want to meet them. they understood and said yes. dont worry, just be honest, be sincere, they'll understand:)
