Hi Genevafulbright. Thanks for the response! I figured that a number of people don't go through university programs. I hope you hear good news soon!

Any Swiss main candidates out there who did not apply to a university? I will be working in a lab while there and will be affiliated with a research institute. I was confused about my notification letter that says they are confirming my admissions at my chosen university, since I didn't apply to any schools. I'm hoping there won't be any problems since I've stated in my application that I'll be working at a lab, but I was wondering if there is anyone in a similar boat? Thanks and good luck to all those still anxiously checking the mailbox.

From my understanding each country/region has its own process for additional interviews or other materials, so I wouldn't worry too much if you haven't gotten another interview. Maybe your country doesn't require anything else?

So did anyone else have other transcripts in their original Fulbright application that they aren't sending to the IIE for the final round. For instance ones from study abroad etc. (so institutions they did not get a degree from). It feels weird having some transcripts in my original app., but that I don't need to get the hard copies for the next round. At least it is less paperwork to deal with...

Do they have the figures up for the number of total applicants for the 2011-2012 competition?
