GRE 1500 (730 V, 770 Q), gpa 3.2, 1 pub, 2 years of research post-grad, 1 year of undergrad research. I guess we'll just have to cross our fingers and wait, but it's nice to know that well-qualified individuals are still waiting to hear. Good luck to you too!
So I was put on the waiting list for admission to Brown Neuroscience PhD Program at the end of January. I contacted the admissions department and they told me that they have drawn from the waiting list pool in the past but it depends on the number of offers from the first round of interviews as well as the number of people that accept those offers. Does anyone have any more information regarding the likelihood of admission to this program from the waiting list?
Also, has anyone heard anything from the NYU Center for Neural Science (not Sackler) admissions department? I've heard nothing and the admissions department said to be patient and wait until the beginning of April. Although I'm optimistic, I was never contacted for an interview so I'm starting to seriously doubt my chances. According to the results page, there was an open house for applicants. Any input regarding these two programs would be much appreciated.
