Italia 2011 Italy alternate status ETA received 3/9/2011 small white envelope

Thanks! I think it'll be about two weeks or so.

ETA applicant here; we've spoken before. Though you all (Full grantees) were notified a while ago, we have yet to have receive anything. When someone had posted that the Italian letters were sent out, I assumed that included the ETAs but I was wrong. Someone else called and Rachel said that decisions had not been made yet and it would be quite some time before we'd be notified. The lesson to be learned here is patience. We are still in limbo.

Can anyone tell me if ETAs get notified at the same time as ful grants?

I don't see anything for Italy. Whomever is on the East coast will have the advantage though. I am in Southern Cali so I'll be last.

Are you serious? Are we talking about all letter? Full and ETA?

I've seen seen the spreadsheet for 2010-2011 but is there one for 2009-2010? If so, can you post it please?

Your right,.. I was mentally prepared for June but it is May. Either way, it's still a long time.

At least you don't have to wait until mid-June like the Italian folks. I think we might actually be last.

I am always finding one way or another to connect a word to something in Italian too. It's my curse as a linguist.

I too am wondering about the Visa process because I will actually be leaving the country soon. I am wondering if I will be need to make multiple trips to the consulate? Also, can this be taken care of at an embassy in another country? Or, does it need to be done within the states?

In terms of school loans, I think I you can get another deferment. I read something to that affect. Can anyone else confirm?
