I know!! Why hasn't Connecticut sent out their rejections yet? I'm so tired of waiting for it, and at this point don't even care that much. Just send it to me, already. weeble, do you mind sharing who you'll be working with at ASU? I applied there as well, but the professor I wanted to work with is going on sabbatical and not taking students from what I understand. I'll be heading to Tulane University in the Fall, which I'm excited about.

I posted the rejection, but I was expecting it since I had heard from my prospective advisor. Good luck to the rest of you who are waiting!

I received offer from another university and emailed the professor I applied to asking where I stood. He informed me the student he gave an offer to accepted, thus I was going to be rejected (his email was very nice, but that's what it boiled down to). This is the last communication I've had with Tufts, though. I haven't received anything official from them yet.

I applied to 15 social programs, and got into one. I was also wait listed at one school, but have since been rejected. Someone else I know applied to 18 social programs, and got into one. All the while, going into this process back I kept hearing about how competitive my application package was from the professors writing my letters of recommendations. This is a rough, rough year.

I know she had an interview awhile ago (maybe a month or so?) and accepted their offer earlier this week.

I was wondering if any of you had applied to Florida State, and if so, have you heard anything from them? I know someone who has been accepted into their clinical program. But looking at the social psych. results page, there hasn't been anything for social yet. At this point, I just want the rest of my rejections to come in so I can accept an offer and move on.

I received a rejection from Stanford very early on, sometime in February I think. If you haven't heard anything yet, maybe that's a good thing? I don't know. I do know several other people who were also rejected from Stanford the same day as me. Good luck!

Yesterday I received a generic email from UC Davis that said "We are in the process of making a decision on your application for admission. You may review the decision after 8:00 a.m. PST on March 9, 2009, by accessing your UC Davis application on the online admission web site." Did anyone else who applied to Davis receive an email like this? Does anyone know if Davis already had an interview/recruitment weekend? I haven't seen much about Davis on the forum, so I'm really not sure what to expect when I check my status on March 9th...

You're welcome! It was me who posted on the results page, and I applied to social psych. It does look like it's been a funding issue, which is encouraging I guess.

Hi all, Tufts is also one of my top choices (for Social). I broke down and emailed the contact person in the psych. department, asking what stage of the process the admissions committee is in. She replied that they expect to start notifying people by next week or so. Not too much longer!! Good luck to you all... fingers crossed!
