Since I posted that last query, I have heard from Toronto and Harvard, but only because I e-mailed and asked. If I hadn't, I'd still be waiting. Anyway, Harvard made its decisions a couple of weeks ago, and I was rejected. Toronto made its decisions last week, and I was rejected. I look forward to the good news from NYU, whenever they see fit to send it my way!

Has anyone heard anything about NYU or Berkeley? I haven't seen any acceptances or rejections for either place posted in the results here. The only NYU posting is for a wait-listing on March 1. Last year, those accepted at NYU heard earlier than this. Do you think those accepted there this year are just keeping the good news to themselves, or is NYU taking longer to make its decisions this time around?

As I just posted in the results, I decided to e-mail the grad program administrator, and she wrote back right away and told me that they made their admissions decisions last weekend and that I was not among the admitted. I guess they just haven't updated the website. I hope that my shreds of hope still apply to you and that you made the wait list.

Thanks for letting us know. I'm sorry to hear your news, because I haven't heard anything. Despite your assurance, I cling to hope for the following reasons: 1. Somebody else indicated that he or she had found out about a rejection on the website today, and the website still gives my status as "No decision." 2. Even though it sounds like a round of offers has gone out, I suspect that there's probably a wait list or something, and I'm hoping I'm on it. Please feel free to dash these lingering shreds of hope if you have further information, and thanks again for letting us know what you know.
